Paul Smith
Originally from Nottingham in England's Midlands region, designer Paul Smith left school at the age of 15 and opened his first shop in the city in 1970. After nearly 50 years in business, he has outlets all over the world and has turned his name into a globally loved brand, dressing everyone from David Bowie to the England football team. Known for his innovative tailoring and witty take on fashion, it is, according to the writer Caroline Roux, the 'urge to entertain which has most informed Smith's work.' He sits down with broadcaster Danielle Radojcin to talk about five things that have inspired him.
