Depression, Stress and Overwhelm as a Teacher in 2020

Are you struggling right now? To say this has been a tough year would be an understatement! Being a classroom teacher during this year has been really hard for a lot of my listeners and students. I wanted to create an episode that will help you navigate some of the things you are experiencing during a stressful time.

I wanted to give some insight into three things that I was hearing from my audience: depression, stress and overwhelm. So I want to help the best way I know how by sharing with you some of the things that helped me during the last eight years, including during some of the roughest years when I was in the classroom.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • My story of depression
  • Something that I have never shared online before
  • How you can navigate the many different types of feelings that have come your way this year
  • How to tackle depression and stress
  • How to choose positivity
