We interview Stephanie Harriman McGrath, PharmD Clinical Community Pharmacist about the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association's new blog - Pharmacists Care.  The PPA Public Relations Committee is in the process of developing a Blog for the general public.  They have named the blog -  Pharmacists Care and will use the above logo design.  The blog will be in a stand alone program but once launched - there will be a link to it from this page.In preparation for its targeted launch on December 1, 2014, the committee is collecting content/blogs to be able to regularly post.  Even after the launch this will be an ongoing venture.  Your submissions as an author would be greatly appreciated.  Please remember you are writing to inform the general public.  Use Your Imagination!  Here are some possible ideas: Pharmacists Involved in Care:  Providing immunizations, travel vaccines, helping manage diabetes, medical equipment information, keeping an accurate medication list and more.Medication Safety:  Medication disposal, adhering to your medications, asking your pharmacist, and diversion and abuse.Business Topics: Explaining co-pays, coinsurance, discount cards, pharmacists in ACOs or medical homes, how pharmacies are paid, and more. Current Issues:  What is a PBM?  Pharmacists and provider status, Health Information Technology and emerging applications.
