#NCPA2014 The Pharmacy Podcast Show Traveled to Austin, TX to Stay on the “Cutting Edge” in Patient Services Over 3,000 pharmacy industry professionals traveled to Austin, TX to attend the National Community Pharmacists Association’s (NCPA) 116th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition to highlight the importance of independent community pharmacy to our health care system and to promote patient health. During the convention, attendees heard remarks from noted investor and business advisor Guy Kawasaki and singer/songwriter David Carroll whose viral video “United Breaks Guitars” influenced how companies approach customer service. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in continuing education seminars as well as in round table discussions with their fellow pharmacists to discuss emerging trends, technologies and best practices.
