Welcome to Uptown Drug & Gift Shop, a family-run business established in 1945. The proprietors are Jo Ann and Jerry Shapiro, who purchased the store from Jerry’s parents in 1969. For twenty-seven years, the store was located in the mid-Wilshire area. Seeing the rebirth of downtown L.A., we decided to move our business there in August of 2004. Our pharmacy is dedicated to helping all of our patients receive the best possible medical care as it relates to pharmacy services. First and foremost, we are prescription specialists.
