[Real Talk] When "I Don't Know HOW" is holding you back!
In this episode: Labeling your fear as excitement Failure a stumbling are not the opposite of success Taking the responsibility of figuring it out Picking your first step to get the ball rolling Hey girl, I am so excited you are here! Today’s episode comes directly from a message I got from a woman on Instagram who said, “Kac, I really wanna do this thing, but I don’t know how.” I LOVE this topic because ‘how’ holds us back from doing so many things that we want to do in our life. So here’s my take on it: you can tell me HOW to ride a unicycle a I can understand fundamentally what I need to do. But until I actually grab that unicycle, sit on it a start pedaling - understanding that there’s a very good chance I’m going to fall on my face - I’m never going to know how to do it. Because even if the best unicycler in the world teaches me how, they’ve put their reps in to get that good a I haven’t done it yet. So how in the world could I know how until I actually start a get that clarity and belief in myself that comes from action. That’s what we are talking about today a I think you’re really going to vibe with it! Quotes: “If we get too caught up in the ‘how’ just visualizing the actual action, a we choose to stay stuck, we’re never going to get there.” “Failure and stumbling and the doubts that come in, are not actually the opposite of success, they’re actually a necessary stepping stone to get you where you want to go.” “We don’t need a permission slip from anybody. And we don’t need a manual with step-by-step instructions of how to do the thing that’s on our heart. We just need the first step.” “Don’t rob yourself of the opportunity to see success a fulfillment in your life simply because you refuse to take responsibility that even with the best damn map on the planet… the how comes from action.” Resources: Hey girl, have you joined our email list yet?
