Tonglen - The Ancient Buddhist Way of Releasing Suffering (45 min)

The word ‘Tonglen’ itself is Tibetan for 'giving and taking' (or sending and receiving). It is a practice of being present and open to your own suffering, being willing to receive and integrate the suffering and pain within yourself. In the simple act of being unflinchingly present for your own anguish, bearing witness to it with an open heart and fearless acceptance of this suffering, you heal yourself, you awaken a bottomless compassion within yourself. By bringing an open hearted presence, a loving and fearless presence to your own pain or loss, you unlock the healing alchemy of compassion and love.  This is a 45 minute version of the 'Environment of the Mind' Tonglen practice.
