In this #Back2basicsPodcast we invited Mr. Azaz Syed, Who is an Islamabad-based print and electronic media journalist trainer and author. His book titling, "The Secrets of Pakistan's War On Al. Qaeda" remained the best seller in the year 2015. He reports and analyses issues related to democracy, civil-military relations, counter-terrorism, intelligence, national security, and anti-corruption. In the year 2009 / 2010 he hosted the countries first-ever television show titling, The Spy Master, at Dawn News in which the role of intelligence agencies and military in politics was exposed. Besides practicing journalism for the last sixteen years he also taught the subject of investigative reporting at Islamic International University and National University of Modern Languages (NUML) between 2006 to 2012.
