Extreme weather conditions are occurring more often all around the world, from wildfires in the U.S. and Australia to severe flooding in parts of Africa and Asia. As a society, we are facing a global crisis: Over 1.2 billion people could be displaced from their homes by 2050 due to the effects of climate change. Urgent action is needed to combat the immense challenges we face.
