The Duke was busy composing the music for Paris Blues so Hodges took this group on a short European tour. Ray Nance, Lawrence Brown, Johnny Hodges, Harry Carney, Al Williams, Aaron Bell and Sam Woodyard play Ellington standards and features for each member.
