Vitamin D: What Is It Good For? A Lot

Vitamin D has been getting a lot from the medical world to help with a variety of health issues. But how do you sort fact from fiction? In this episode, I sit down with Dr. William B Grant, a vitamin D researcher and educator who sheds light on a myriad of vitamin D topics including its role in helping heart disease, cancer multiple sclerosis Covid-19, and autism. Along the way we talk about tanning beds and whether vitamin D can raise testosterone levels, reduce inflammation, the difference between D2 and D3, who may not be getting enough what to ask your doctor to test for if you're getting your vitamin D levels measured. That’s just some of the issues we discuss in this information-packed episode.
