Bees create honey through a fascinating procedure involving flower nectar, regurgitation, and evaporation. Bees also cause allergic reactions in people. A boy is raised by a neglectful family member and commits himself to an education so as to escape his squalor. As an adult, he finds the perfect situation to exact sweet retribution.
Sometimes, an ugly process can create something beautiful. But all beauty must die eventually, and every bee must return to its hive.
