The Mindset of a Successful Entrepreneur with James Wedmore

Don’t let the fear of success hold you back from showing up exactly as who you really are in business. I’m joined by my coach, James Wedmore, to talk about how to make more sales by doing what you do best: connecting with and educating your nutrition clients. About James Wedmore James Wedmore is an introvert from Laguna Beach, CA who has spent the past 8 years teaching online entrepreneurs how to leverage the power of online video and YouTube with such courses and programs like Video Traffic Academy and 48Hr Film School.  Starting in 2016, he made a massive shift to focus on a big gap that he saw missing in the marketplace: The Mindset of Entrepreneurs.  He launched a podcast (Mind Your Business) and a new flagship program (Business By Design) to help other content creators, authors, and coaches thrive online. On this podcast, James explains why you should show up exactly as you are in order to form the best connections with your audience. He also encourages you to be more confident with who you are in your business marketing. Your business is a direct reflection of you.  James works with entrepreneurs to help them scale their businesses to multiple 6 and 7 figure businesses. But he encourages us all not to think of our business in terms of the money we’re bringing in, because money isn’t an indication of success. Money is an indication of how many people you’re helping. We talk about what the most valuable business skills are and how you can market your business so it’s not sleazy. This, according to James, cannot happen because marketing is the tool you’re using to sell your products. James encourages you to reframe your approach to marketing. James also talks about some of the psychological reasons why your nutrition customers and clients are reluctant to make the changes we recommend to them. It can be not only scary to make a change, but it can also be painful as well. That’s one of the reasons James is passionate about every person seeking out mentors and guides to show us what we don’t already know. Some of the other amazing things we talk about in this episode are why you truly need to choose a niche for your business. When you become a leading expert in your industry, you’re going to make more sales. Lastly, James explains how you can market your group products by talking to only one person in your approach.
