What do we as parents do when our plant-based kids are faced with non-vegan foods? Vibeka…this is a doozy! There are so many ways to deal with our kids’ choices to eat animal products when they are with friends or other family members. It all comes down to your family values with regards to health, animal rights and also your parenting style. The short answer is as long as you’re calm, cool and respectful, there really is no wrong answer, only ones that are more suited for your unique situation. How I may handle my plant-based kids may be completely different from everyone else in the Healthy Plant-Based Families Facebook group!
