THE 2019-20 SEASON Marshall's first season was supposed to be a rebuild, however, the Mavericks proved all year-long to be formidable opponents. They finished third in an extremely competitive district before making a successful playoff run, reaching the regional quarterfinals. Manvel finished the year with a record of 23-11. PRIOR TO MANVEL Marshall comes to Manvel by way of Cedar Ridge High School where he was the associate head coach. During his tenure, the Raiders posted consecutive 25-win campaigns and made it to the regional quarterfinals in both seasons. Previous coaching stops include Williowridge, Morton Ranch, Vista Ridge, and Taylor. PERSONAL Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Marshall credits his "Windy City" upbringing with shaping his coaching style and philosophy. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008 and his Master’s Degree from the University of Houston in 2011. Marshall is married to his high school sweetheart, Tiffani.
