INS is pleased to announce Velda Biddix, MSN, RN, CRNI®, VA-BC, as the first recipient of this award. Velda’s life work has been dedicated to improving the patient experience across all boundaries of infusion therapy and vascular access. She has been on both the front line and behind the scenes promoting best practices for infusion therapy, vascular access, and management and care of vascular access devices. She has maintained her certifications throughout all the various changes in health care during her career.
