Sukumaran (Sreenivasan) is being taught to drive by Kunjananthan(Mammukoya). He finds it difficult to learn and Kunjananthan scolds him. Sukumaran feels insulted and tells Kunjananthan that he had studied in Polytechnic and he know how machines work. Then he started driving on his own.
