As cinemas are currently revisiting the early 90s with Pablo Larrain's Spencer, we thought it would be a good time to take a look at the genre of the Biopic. A perennial favourite with filmmakers, audiences and Oscar voters, the Biopic is a unique genre of cinema that casts its net over the wealth of human experience, and includes lots of famous people playing other famous people.
