Bethanie Irons is a painter, digital artist and curator of PLEAT Gallery. In this episode we talk about Instagram as an educational tool for artists, getting a PhD and being a social advocate for the arts. Bethanie's work responds to playful objects that talk about our relationship with consumerism. We discuss how after grad school she was looking for community and ended up forming PLEAT Gallery, an online gallery that features two artists each month.
