Bangladeshi 'Pitha' festival in Campbelltown - সিডনির ক্যাম্বেলটাউনে পিঠা উৎসব
'Pitha' is a type of rice cake from Bangladesh. Campbelltown Bangla School in Sydney arranged a 'Pitha' festival on 4th August and raised fund for the school. The president of the school Mr Abdul Jalil talked to SBS Bangla prior to the festival.
-৪ আগস্ট রবিবার সিডনির ক্যাম্বেলটাউনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল দেশীয় ঐতিহ্যের পিঠা উৎসব। ইঙ্গেলবার্নের গ্রেগ পার্সিভাল কমিউনিটি সেন্টারে অনুষ্ঠিত এই দিন-ব্যাপী উৎসবে অংশ নেন প্রায় ৭০০-৮০০ লোক। আয়োজক ছিল ক্যাম্বেলটাউন বাংলা স্কুল।এবারের প্রস্তুতি নিয়ে উৎসবের আগে এসবিএস বাংলার সঙ্গে কথা বলেছেন ক্যাম্বেলটাউন বাংলা স্কুলের প্রেসিডেন্ট আব্দুল জলিল।
