Welcome to Culpeper, VA, "A Great American Main Street." Named "The Prettiest Town in Virginia" by Architectural Digest, Culpeper is a bedroom community of Northern Virginia and the Washington DC area. The original town was surveyed in 1759 by a young George Washington. Mother's Day was established in honor of one of Culpeper's citizens, Ann Jarvis. If you're wondering what Dr. Jess thinks of Mother's Day, take a listen. You won't be disappointed! Culpeper was involved in both the Revolutionary War and Civil War, as was home to notable figures in both conflagrations.
