Classic is a Michigan native/military brat who has made his rounds on the hardwood playing basketball to the setting booths and microphones a blaze with his rhymes. On Episode 18: Category Other, Classic discusses his background from growing up in Michigan to moving around the country with his family. Classic a stand out ball player went to college on a basketball scholarship and once in college started to take rapping serious. Classic details his time in school, meeting a local college radio DJ and rapping on his platform every chance he could get. Classic talks about moving out West to Phoenix, AZ and connecting with a protégé The Game. Classic would later be invited to record at The Salt Mines Studio Oasis a place where many legendary artists go. We talk about Classic meeting his wife who is from Africa, visiting the Motherland and studying Hermetic language, Gnostic and Esoteric teachings. Later in the interview Classic details how he ended up on Kentucky still working on music and meeting Beazy of Bread Boy Ent. Where he would go on to record more music and build a relationship with them. Loner is Classic’s latest project and it cover mental health issues which was drawn from his own personal experiences. We talk about what’s going on now and what the future holds down the line. All in all this is a dope convo with Classic.
