Ep. 65 - Raines (2007)
Back in the '80s, Jeff Goldblum tried his hand at leading his own TV show with TENSPEED AND BROWN SHOE. The show was short-lived and it would take more than two decades before Goldblum would lead his own series again... and this one would also prove to be short-lived. Goldblum stars at the title character on RAINES, a police procedural with a supernatural twist that aired on NBC in the spring of 2007. The show was created by Graham Yost, who went on to create JUSTIFIED, and the pilot - which is what we're discussing today - was directed by Frank Darabont. (And fun fact: though it may have been cancelled, Goldblum credits this show with getting him his role on LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT a couple years later!)
