November is Native American Heritage Month - a time where we recognize and honor the significant contributions first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the United States.

Our featured students are from the Champions after school program at Mooberry Elementary School! These students love journaling, as evidenced by pictures of them working hard on their creations. Students can pick from a variety of prompts and styles - from writing about something they would like to learn, drawing a pie chart of their favorite foods in their stomach, or discussing a special memory they have with their family, among many other options. Way to go, students!
