There has been much talk in the news lately about pandemic-related service and supply issues across the country - shipping bottlenecks, transportation disruptions, production delays, worker shortages, and so on. These things are also affecting HSD, and with the Oct. 18 compliance deadline for the vaccine mandate upon us, we are likely to see additional impacts.

Our featured event is bulb planting at Lenox Elementary School! Carrying on a tradition that spans more than 40 years, students and staff at Lenox planted daffodil bulbs in beds around the building on Thursday, October 7th. The bulbs were donated by Farmington Gardens and families; flowers will bloom between late winter and early spring.
