4-7: "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man"

The lads discuss the possible tonal imbalance in "Musings" and how that may affect the goal of humanizing a man like CSM. Is this a case of the narrator's own hyperbole and if so was that a good idea when handling a menacing and almost mythological character like CSM? Frohike flourishes or silly and trite writing?
