With the recent announcement that Nicholas Cage will finally get to play Superman in Teen Titans Go to the Movies -- after almost playing the Man of Steel in Tim Burton's aborted Superman Lives project -- it got us thinking about how some of our favorite actors came thisclose to being our favorite super heroes.
