"Paradise Lost" is the conclusion of the story that started in "Homefront" and it has a lot of the usual second-hour issues in Star Trek episodes. While Homefront had a lot of thematic weight to the narrative, Paradise Lost is in the unfortunate position of trying to wrap everything up with a neat bow.
