Murderers Let Loose During the Coronavirus

Prisons and jails in each state are letting inmates out for fear of the coronavirus. Some before trial. Some early release. And scores of those are already back in prison for reoffending—some being accused of killing people in their small moments of freedom. On the other side of that coin is Walter Ogrod, who has been in prison for two decades for the murder of a 4-year-old girl. DNA says he most likely did not commit commit that murder. The victim’s mother and even the DA says he should be free, but he sits in jail with a fever of 106 waiting for a hearing. Billy. Paul and legal analyst Loni Coombs delve into these cases. Plus Billy and Paul contribute to the John Krasinski’s Some Good News network with some good crime news.
