Polish your granite countertops and your oven ranges! Christmas is coming early this year, or at least this week’s episode is coming early! It’s our 40th! And we’re talking about the Nancy Meyers original The Holiday (2006) starring Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black. We discuss which pairing we like more, propose some longshot “other guys,” and debate whether or not this film is a classic (Sadie’s position) or an advertisement for interior redecoration (Samantha’s position). Caught in between is Jenn, trying to keep the peace amid the tension, like a middle child during the holidays.
