The Philadelphia Story
We’re back! Samantha looked at a rock and got a hairless cat so the editing is a little more loosey-goosey and raw than usual, but Jenn and Sadie are back, too, to discuss ‘The Philadelphia Story’ (1940) in which C.K. Dexter Haven (Cary Grant) comes up with a ridiculous scheme to get back into his ex-wife Tracy Lord’s (Katherine Hepburn’s) life. Also in the mix: a struggling Spy magazine writer named Mike or Connor or Macaulay Culkin or something (Jimmy Stewart). We’re weird. Sadie and Samantha spend about 1/3 of this episode laughing at the word “daddy.” We’ll be fully operational, like the Death Star, next week!
