29. @jodystoski: Creating Quality Online Courses
Online training has become more and more of a staple in today's world of beauty education. With that, it's so important for trainers to understand what goes into creating effective and thorough online courses for students looking to master and apply what they've learned immediately. Luckily for us, owner of Cinnamon Girl Clinic and renowned paramedical artist Jody Stoski shares with us her tips on how to craft quality online courses. You really don't want to miss this! Meet Jody: Jody Stoski, owner of Cinnamon Girl Clinic in Calgary, Canada has treated over 10,000 paramedical and cosmetic patients since she began her permanent makeup (PMU) career in 2007. Her depth of experience has allowed her to partner with local doctors and plastic surgeons to service the paramedical community and to also offer information sessions at local hospitals regarding the various options available to those recovering from injury or trauma. In 2020 Jody launched the Jody Stoski Paramedical Tattoo Academy with the vision of training experienced PMUs around the world how to add paramedical services to their businesses. Academy training is delivered entirely online and offers the most practical and simplified techniques to ensure PMUs are able to succeed in entering the paramedical market. In addition to sharing the benefits of adding paramedical services Jody has built a strong culture of ‘community over competition’ into which her students are welcomed.
