Boston College Women’s Lacrosse Coach, Acacia Walker
Boston College Women's Lacrosse Head Coach, Acacia Walker's accolades are so vast we can't begin to scratch the surface: at 15, she was the youngest member of the World Championship U-19 Team that won Gold in Perth, Australia. As a collegiate player herself, she was an All-American at the University of Maryland where she won the coveted James H. Kehoe Award. As an assistant coach at Northwestern, she Won 3 consecutive National Championships. Last year, in 2017, she was the National Coach of the Year, having led the Eagles to their best-ever season in program history and, as of May 18, 2018 her Eagles are still in the hunt for their first National Championship. But what impressed me most was her attention to selflessness, lack of ego and team play, which has led her teams to excellence both on the field and in the classroom. She is, in my humble opinion, everything that's right with sports today.... Acacia Walker. If you like what you hear, please Subscribe, leave an iTunes review and spread the word.
