Paying Tuition To The School Of Life
As a college drop-out, I dropped out before getting to all of the business classes. As a result, I had to learn most lessons in business the hard way…trial and error. That, and reading every business book I could get my hands on. Ever make a colossal mistake in your work or in your business that costs you TONS of time and money?... …one that after the fact seems painfully obvious. I know I have... 1. getting into a business partnership out of insecurity that later cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars in a buy out 2. mis-hiring time and time again for the same position(s) 3. not focusing enough on our customers or their needs and instead focusing too much on the sales a marketing side of the business. ???? And the list goes ON and ON. When these mistakes happen (and they still happen to this day), I call it “paying tuition to the school of life”. In this episode I explain what that means.
