How to Stand Out When You Work Remote

In an increasingly distant working world, standing out can be difficult. With much activity happening behind screens and closed doors, many people are struggling to engage interactively and think creatively. As I discuss in this episode, there are still ways to differentiate yourself despite the pandemic’s effect on availability. For instance, while many can network in physical space, promotable leaders are adapting ahead of the curve. More specifically, they are asking new questions on how they can collaborate and inquiring about additional learning opportunities. In essence, the workers who are shining the most in 2020 are the ones who are learning how to recreate processes and procedures in a fresh way. Not only are they thinking about people who have mentored them and pondering how they can mentor others but are intentional and purposeful in every endeavor.
