Robert Rodriguez's Mexico Trilogy

Just in time for Robert Rodriguez's entry into the Star Wars universe with new Boba Fett series, Cine-Lit takes a look at the birth of Rodriguez's career and the trilogy that established him as a Hollywood director. We look at the lengths Rodriguez went to scramble together the $7000 dollar budget for El Mariachi, to becoming part of a cool indie cinema clique with Quentin Tarantino in the mid 90s, launching the Hollywood careers of Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek before rounding off his trilogy with Once Upon A Time In Mexico (2003), co-starring Johnny Depp.
