After the Canadian government arrested Meng Wanzhou, CFO of Huawei upon an extradition request by the United States, relations between China and Canada have taken a beating. This arrest is likely to be one of the major points of discussions in the negotiations between the trade representatives of the two countries being held on Jan 30-31 in Washington DC. So in this episode, we discuss this ongoing technology dispute between China and the US. We also ask and answer: how should India proceed with its 5G plans? Should we let China in?
