Andrew Scott Bell has composed a variety of short horror films as well as the upcoming anthology Deathcember and, most importantly, Shudder's upcoming Queer Horror Documentary, directed by Sam Wineman!We discuss his compositions, how he got into horror and into scoring horror movies. Andrew drops some hot tea about Sam Wineman's illustrious past as a Myspace star. He also discusses how amazing it was to have a full orchestra play his music and we tackle the question of where the big film scores went. Then we turn to the wonderful, whimsical and...downright terrifying E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial! Zombie spacemen, home invasions, and a squealing E.T. terrify while the existential themes of death hang over this family film.
