Today we welcome our first COUPLE to the podcast. Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs are the founders of Hope Matters Marriage Ministries. Their ministry includes sharing God’s heart for marriage and relationships through Biblical counseling, writing and speaking. Jeff and Cheryl have an UNBELIEVABLE story. They wrote a book called “I Do Again,” which details their 30 year story of marriage, betrayal, infidelity, divorce, emotional damage BUT how God BROUGHT them back together after divorce to eventually re-marry one another. It is such a powerful testimony of God’s redeeming love. It also shows how important things such as trust, communication, and a heart for Jesus are while dating.There is SO much to be learned in dating from the Scruggs story so that we can strengthen our tools to building lasting, thriving marriages.
