6. The why's and how's of journaling - Quick Minute with Shana

I’m sure you’ve all heard about the law of attraction and how visualizing your goals and dreams will help make them a reality. I’m a firm believer in the law of attraction and visualization – so much so that I’ve taken this idea one step further … let me tell you about how to use the law of attraction while you journal. Now if you aren’t already journaling regularly, then you need to start. Stat. I’ve found that journaling every morning, yes EVERY MORNING, keeps me less anxious, more focused, and more organized as a person. Let me explain. Every morning I wake up before the rest of my family does, and I take this time to sit down and write down what’s on my mind. Specifically, I write about what I want in my future. I start my journal entries with “I’m so grateful now that…” Do you see how I’m writing as though I’m present in my future? Trust me. It works. Make journaling work for you: -Be consistent. Do it daily. -Get yourself into a “feeling” place ​-Turn off distractions. -Be as descriptive as you can be. -Write as though you are in the future feeling/seeing/living your goal/dream You have nothing to lose and only so much to gain!
