Sneakers (1992) and Journeyman (2017)
In the latest episode of Film Stories with Simon Brew, Simon looks at two films that each took around a decade to made it to the screen. 1992's Sneakers is a delightful caper, headlined by Robert Redford, whose foundations oddly enough lie in 1983's WarGames. Plus, Redford directed a film himself either side of shooting the movie. For Paddy Considine, he came up with Journeyman two years before his directorial debut, Tyrannosaur.
