Alex holds a master's degree in exercise physiology from the University of the Pacific and a bachelor's degree in dietetics from James Madison University. Her award-winning blog, Delish Knowledge, focuses on making plant-based eating deliciously simple.

Alex is the co-author of Plant-Based Juniors (PBJs) a community for parents and educators interested in properly implementing plant-based diets for infants and children. Additionally, she is the co-author of the online 6-week program Joyful Eating, Nourished Life, which helps others discover a happier, healthier relationship with food and their body. Alex lives in St. Louis with her husband and 2-year-old son, Vander.
