Episode #67: Intuitive Eating and Your Child

In this episode, I discuss why feeding your child may be stressful and why the majority of parents may interfere with how much their child eats. I also describe Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibilities. Finally, I discuss what I call the Five Pillars of Healthy Eating which is a framework with which to approach feeding your family.

“Children have natural ability with eating. They eat as much as they need, they grow in the way that is right for them, and they learn to eat the food their parents eat.” -Ellyn Satter from Ellyn Satter’s Division of Responsibility in Feeding
