The PANDEMIC Podcast with Judson - Episode 83 - Accents

Judson speaks with a lady about accents, particularly Southern accents, and she thinks, “why should it matter?” Don’t manners simply speak for themselves? During the pandemic- manners seems to go a long way. Judson also speaks with Kathleen from Maine who is shocked that there is not more country music (at night) in Music City. It’s DJ’s and stuff. A lady named Mary has a thick Tennessee accent, but says Judson doesn’t even have a Southern accent - not to hear ear at least. The episode is interwoven with a rough draft track of Judson’s song “Inheritance Blues” that he performs on acoustic. The Episode ends with an accent Judson fears might become extinct - the Charleston accent. He spins a clip of the late Charleston Senator, Fritz Hollings.
