The PANDEMIC Podcast with Judson - Episode 61 - Mayor Cooper Coverup
Judson is back in Nashville. He discovers a breaking news story from Fox 17 that Mayor Cooper's office of Nashville hid the true numbers of coronavirus cases from bars and restaurants from the public. When he tries to look into the matter more closely for himself, Judson is met with recurring obstacles to the information. The most popular article on Google News becomes unavailable to click on - when Judson clicks on the link Fox gives him an "our apologies but we cannot locate the article" message. In the middle of going forward and backward in the browser Judson is interrupted by a Fact-checking sheet in real time that pops up on his screen - assuring him that the story that people are looking up is "fake news." Judson calls Fox to let them know their breaking news article is missing. The next day he searches again, only to find that the article has been replaced with a new article declaring "Cooper: Nashville hiding information about COVID clusters in bars is 'fake news.'"
