I may have stepped on my soapbox for this episode, y'all. Prepare yourselves! After getting a dose of judgement and criticism thrown my way I felt LED in a big way to speak up about my feelings on this topic. Instead of letting it break me or get me down, I decided to use it as fuel for my message. To stand UP again'st opposition and the opinions of others when you know what you're doing is right and good between you and God. I hope to be the reassuring voice so many of you need to hear... to remind you that you GET to be who you are... wait, you have a RESPONSIBILITY to be who God says you are, even when people don't like it, or understand it. And, I want to boldly stake my claim that EVERYONE IS WELCOME HERE. My corner of the internet welcomes every religion, political party, race, gender, income level, etc. I feel so strongly that Christians (and humans in general) should give grace, show love, and serve with open arms - regardless of who is on the receiving end.
