GST on Gaming : an industry killer?
In the 50th GST Council Meeting, the members of the council [among other decisions] decided to increase the rate of GST from 18% to 28% and also fundamentally change the way GST is computed on online gaming, horse racing & casinos.A lot of experts are saying that this could be an industry killing move - and in this episode, I've tried to break down this rule and flesh out the details.
