A video is viral on social media in which a car is burning on the Rohini flyover, Delhi. Social Media users are claiming that it happened due to the Hand sanitizer.The Lallantop fact check team investigated the whole matter and brought out the truth. We found that this car fire incident has nothing to do with hand sanitizers. Delhi Police DCP Dr. A. Kon has clarified that hand sanitizers are not the reason behind the Rohini incident. Delhi Fire service chief Atul Garg and former Delhi fire service chief Dr. GC Misra shared their expert opinions with The Lallantop. We also explained about the Flashpoint, Fire point, and Auto-ignition temperature of ethyl alcohol, the main constituent of hand sanitizers.
