Former Hearthstone World Champ Firebat on the rise of Auto-Battlers, Shaving Head for Charity
After winning the inaugural Hearthstone World Championship in 2014, Firebat has become one of the biggest streamers / content creators in Hearthstone and digital card games. With the rise of auto-battlers like Hearthstone Battlegrounds, TeamFight Tactics and Auto Chess, he has been playing plenty of those modes as well. The popular streamer is also freshly bald after holding a series of charity streams that benefited the St. Baldrick's Foundation in its fight against childhood cancer. Check out his latest YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsO5rlgM16I) and play Shave the Day (https://www.shavetheday.com/), a game from Schick Xtreme that drives proceeds to St. Baldricks. In this episode we talk about the importance of having morals when finding sponsorships, why auto-battlers have become the game of choice for many content creators and how Hearthstone has evolved over the years from a simple smorc engine to a complex resource fueled bonanza.
