Jason Lake, CEO of Complexity Gaming, on the History of Esports

Jason Lake is one of the true founding fathers of western esports. Few companies can touch the run of Complexity Gaming from being founded in 2003 until now. Through that time, Lake has seen different eras of esports come and go. According to Lake, we are currently in Esports 3.0. Here's how he breaks down the history of esports and the lessons he has learned along the way. In the podcast the conversation refrences a few articles where I talked with Lake. Here's his answer to the question "Are Esports Fans Spoiled? How to find Paths to Profitability" (https://esportsinsider.com/2020/05/esports-fans-spoiled-profitability/) and "Herman Miller's Esports Entry is a Welcome Fight Against Gamer Chairs."
